Rules Of the Tournament

1. Game Format – ROUND ROBIN WITHIN THE GROUP (5 Players Group)
2. Scoring: Race to 8 Games, SUDDEN DEATH. NO Ad in/out. Receiver chooses where to receive the service. 
3. Every game counts. In case of ties in the group ranking, number of games won will count.
4. Play Location – Play Anywhere, Anytime within 6 weeks from May 16, 2021 start.
5. Book your own court  (Cost must be shared among players).
6. Bring your own Balls – Recommended Ball: TELOON POUND / Dunlop AO/Slazenger, etc, cost to share.
7. Regular Tie Break at 7 games all. Tie-break ends at slide 2. (Ex 7-5, 8-6, etc).
8. NO SHOW/DEFAULT  - Players who already agreed on the timing and does not inform the opponent will automatically result to DEFAULT (8-0). Grace Period: 15mins. Late for more than 15mins, Host player may claim for Default unless the other player shows a valid reason. 
9. Honesty is the best policy. Please show respect and sportsmanship during the game. If calls are disputed, REPLAY point is the best solution. 
10. HANDSHAKE is discouraged. Use racket to handshake. LIMIT ALSO TO allowable Players/Audience in the court as per rules. 
11. Photo is desired, but please maintain safe distance of 2 meter apart.
12. All scores must be reported directly to the tournament directors to update at Liga Tennis app. 
13. GROUP RANKING
Top 2 each group (determined by Liga Tennis ranking system) will advance to Quarter Finals.
For Advanced Category, since only 3 groups, Top 3 players each group and will be ranked according to Liga Tennis ranking system. If ties happen, no of games won will determine the top. 
14. Each player plays at least 4 matches during Elimination Round unless there's a Default/Walk Over.
15. INDEMNITY FORM must be signed by player and must be returned to TSA before any matches commence.
16. DEADLINE of Matches:
ADVANCED - Aug 15, 2021
INTERMEDIATE - Aug 15, 2021
BEGINNER - Aug 15, 2021

Unplayed matches beyond the deadline will be forfeited.
